A little inspiration goes a long way which can lead to great success. The motivation for the well-known GUESS brand was from the famous Marilyn Monroe. Through the envisioning of Marilyn, GUESS produced exquisite, sexy designs catering to the free-spirited woman. Therefore, when you think of GUESS, the words playful and sexy always come to mind.
However, the major turning point which helped propelled the Guess brand further came when it featured German supermodel Claudia Schiffer in a campaign wearing a black lace bustier shot by Ellen von Unwerth. From that moment onwards she was forever refered to as the ‘GUESS girl’ starring in 6 campaigns from 1989 – 1991.
Now 30 years later, the renowned brand GUESS is celebrating its milestone in the business with a special capsule, limited-edition collection which revisits the most favorite GUESS looks from the past 30 years. This occasion reunites Schiffer and Unwerth once again for the shoot of GUESS 30th anniversary shoot campaign.
