A Japanese-French Collaboration

Louis Vuitton is a luxury brand known for producing very chic collections and creative director Marc Jacobs is known for selecting artiste to rework the labels motifs. Seems like all the right dots were connected when the french label collaborated with japanese abstract artist, 82 years old Yayoi Kusama. Creative juices were overflowing as not only will the line soon be available in Vuitton stores worldwide on July 10th, but there will also be a second collection out in October.

Jacob’s became a fan of Kusama’s signature bold bright coloured dots artwork back in 2006 when she customised a Vuitton bag for him and now her dots are featured through out the collection. The limited edition collector items consists of clothes such as silk pyjamas, dresses and trench coats, accessories, and jewellery available in july, followed by leather goods in October.

Here’s a preview of what is to come at the next Louis Vuitton collaborated collection launch.
